The last thrifty Thursday of 2012!  Next week I will be starting something new on Thursdays since I do not frequent yard sales, garage sales and thrift stores much during the deep winter.  I will re-start Thrifty Thursdays once the warmer weather hits and I get 'garage sale fever' again.

So for the upcoming months in which I care to hibernate more than anything else, I will present you with Three Pins Thursday!!!!  I love Pinterest and since my pinning has become an obsession, I thought I would share my three favorite pins for each week.  I am hoping it will motivate me to try making/doing/trying  the pins that I post as they are really starting to pile up on my boards.  I hope you will like to join me and perhaps share one of your favorite pins in the comment section each week.  I would love to see your favorites as well!

But for now here are the last thrifty finds for 2012.  A cute Mama and son snowmen set.  One of my favorites.  Cost $1.99.

Next up another little set of snowmen....on a sled!  Too cute!  I love the little guy with the earmuffs that are made with wire....and the stuffed teddy riding on the back!  LOVE IT!  Cost $ 2.99 with original tags still attached and priced at $24.99 from Target.  A steal I tell ya!

If you are lucky to live in warmer areas of the world where thrifting continues throughout the winter months, good luck in the hunt!  For those of you who are like me and hibernate for the next few months, stay warm and to everyone, remember to give your loved ones a hug!

It's time for Thrifty Thursday!  First up a little wooden angel holding a snowman.  Love the saying...."There's nobody...like my snowbuddy!"  A steal at 25 cents.

The big snowman was a gift from my Mom a few years back and he stands about 3 feet tall.  The wooden tree behind him is my thrifty find.  They look cute together and was so happy to find it for $2.00.

It's Thrifty Thursday once again!  First up is something I saw on someone's blog and pardon me but I don't remember who it was!!!  Sharon, was it you?  For some reason I thought it was ... so if one of my readers posted a set they found a while back, please leave a comment and tell me who you are.  Anyhoo, I had seen these and since I had fallen in love with theirs,  I just had to grab this set.  Silverware trays!  The set of three was only $1.00.  There is a small chip on the largest tray but I don't mind.  I was ecstatic to find them!

and then, just in time for decorating ... this little trio.  Cost .25 cents.

Now is the time to hit the thrift stores if you need Christmas decorations.  I always find a ton of them this time of year ... better yet, wait until after Christmas and pick them up even cheaper!  Happy thrifting and remember to give your loved ones a hug!

Thrifting was fun this week.  First up ....

A pair of tongs.  Made of pewter.  I just love that they look like chicken legs!  Cost 50 cents.

Then I found this little ceramic, chicken container.  Perfect for holding little doodads.  Cost 50 cents.

Last weekend my thrifty haul was made at the local libraries book sale!  Yippee!  This is what $5.00 buys you.

And the same day at the thrift store ..... .49 cents bought me a pie vent ceramic birdie.  Perfect for Thanksgiving pie baking time!

It's Thursday once again!  First find of the week ....

A GREEN, I love the green Fire King loaf pan.  I adore it! Perfect for banana bread, coconut bread, raisin bread, ANY bread!  Cost $ 3.99.  I think a great buy ... you can't even get a cheapie one for that price.

The next find of the week ... an old fashioned flour sifter .... I just love the red!  Cost $ 2.99.

It is Thrifty Thursday ... again!  Boy the weeks sure fly by.

A cute little teacup and saucer with real gold trim!  $1.99.....I really don't think the ladies knew what they were selling ..,,. but it was to my advantage.  I don't collect teacups but this little beauty caught my eye.

Next up .... perfect for those evenings when the sun sets early and we are on the winter clock.  Instead of bright lamp light, how about a soft lantern light?  Just like the pioneers .... only $3.00.

It's time for Thrifty Thursday!

First up.....a perfect round table runner with Chinese symbols.  I will pass this on to Sarah and hopefully she can tell me what it says. I hope she likes it for the apartment.  Cost .99 cents.

Then up next....

a pure white nativity scene....I will give this to Luke and Sarah as well so they can start their own Christmas collection.  Cost $1.00 for the set....from the Salvation Army!  They are the cheapest around.

It's Thrifty Thursday once again!

First up.....a vintage quilt top!  All the hard work has been done for me.  Now I just need to add the batting and backing then get it quilted.  I haven't decided whether to do it by hand or have the quilt show long arm quilt it for me.  It fits a full size bed perfectly.  I love all the fabrics used.  Who could have given something like this up?!  Cost - $4.99

Next up, just in time for the season.  My nutcracker Halloween cat!  Isn't she just adorable?  

Cost - $1.99.  She will fit in just perfectly with my pumpkins.

This weeks Thrifty Thursday are shoes!!!  Our local Goodwill had just received a large shipment of brand new shoes from Target and they had four my size that I just loved so I had to pick them up.  

They were each listed at $1.00 a pair!
