-  my son's 23rd birthday last weekend

 

-  a day of sunshine

 

-  the opportunity to hand out books to non-readers and spread the love of literacy

- having a little free time to organize some closets

 

-  a trip to the library with a tote bag full of new books

 

-  friends to help plow us out after the blizzard and waiting for the next storm to roll in tonight

-  listening to my son on the telephone, telling me how he attempted to make his first homemade batch of stew in the crockpot ..... truly made my week!  LOL

 

-  some of the snow finally melting but then the storm we got yesterday bring another 6 inches back!
