Bob decided to only plant potatoes and onions in the large garden this year while I was away and the peppers, broccoli and tomatoes would be in the little garden. He figured that is all he would be able to handle on his own.
Our large garden started out 20 by 60 feet and this is what it looks like now.....
yes, there are potatoes in there...see? LOL
My poor garden. It will take alot of work to get it back up to point where I can plant again next year.
Here is the small garden....he has been harvesting some items from it...we will be enjoying three stuffed peppers tonight and have been enjoying the few tomatoes as they are ready.
Well I better get at it....lots of work today.
Remember to give your loved ones a hug!
Your peppers and tomatoes look really good. I can't wait to have the room to grow a veggie garden. Also plan to have fruit trees and chickens one day in the not too distant future.

Thanks Cath. Fruit trees and chickens are in our future as well....maybe even pigs! LOL
DeleteA lot of work, yes, but such satisfying work, don't you think? Enjoy your little harvest this year, and during the winter plan for next summer's bounty!
ReplyDeleteOh yes it is satisfying work and we have been enjoying the little harvest...plans for next summer are huge!
DeleteIt has been a tough wume--weather sise for gardens and farms.
ReplyDeleteWe have had a little bit but not like usual. The potatoes did great but most everything else didn't do do well. Next year???
Mm :)
I meant to say tough time and weather wise.
DeleteThat is too bad Melinda.....the weather makes or breaks a garden doesn't it? I am glad to hear your potatoes did well at least. Yep, there is always next year. *sigh*
