I'm Home

Pin It I'm home.  Two words that I have been wanting to say all summer.  I had to snap this picture ... it represents my first step on our old homestead after months of being away.

All the travelling I have had to do, all the worry and stress is over.  My good news is .....

I am now officially an American citizen.

I am reacquainting myself with my surroundings which are all too familiar and at the same time, all so strange.

My dear hubby held down the fort well in my absence and I have much to show you...like his attempt at gardening...which still makes me chuckle.  Unfortunately there will not be any of our canned garden goodies this winter but I will hit the local farmer's market to stock our pantry.  I swear my dear husband moved every single item in every single cupboard in the house around and I cannot for the life of me find anything...but it doesn't matter....I am home and I will slowly work my way through it all.  It's good to be back.

Remember to give your loved ones a hug!
