I picked up some material the other day that I thought would be appropriate for the sashing on my quilt. Now I have been playing with the squares, trying to figure out where they should be placed.
I am not going to use the wonky block for a small pillow, I think. At least I will be putting it to good use and it will match the quilt! Win - win.
After I have decided where I like how the blocks are placed, I will begin cutting. A little nervous but I need to get at it. Hand-quilting it will take me a long time. The rest of my time lately has been experimenting with making quilted table runners. I am almost finished one so I will show you next time.
Today is sunny and a warm 20F. We haven't seen the sun in about a week so what a treat. I think I will spend some time by the dining room window and soak it in while sipping my morning coffee.
Have a great day everyone!
