Happy New Year!!!

Pin It Just wanted to pop in quick and wish everyone a Happy New Year.

Blizzard Bertha hit us on the 23rd and we have been snowed in since Monday. We could not leave the property and no one could make it in. It has been horrible! Talk about a quiet Christmas!

I was suppose to pick up my Mom on the 26th but the dangerous roads held us off until yesterday. So I will be spending the next few days with her.

I hope the new year brings everyone much luck, good health and wealth!

  3. Happy New Year to you!

I'm sure it wasn't any fun, but I gotta tell you...sometimes I think what this whole world needs is to be snowed in for a few days...just to chill out, slow down, and learn to enjoy the simpler things for awhile.

Enjoy your time with your Mom!

  4. Sorry about your blizzard hindering your plans, sweetie. We had a huge blizzard the week before Christmas & I enjoyed every moment of it. The solitude is wonderful. Hope all is back on track for you now. I've enjoyed you, Debbie ... what fun we will have in '10.

I'll be in & our of communication over the next few weeks.

May your New Year be blessed & joyful ... TTFN ~ Marydon

  5. Oh, yes! I remember Blizzard Bertha! She blew through Oklahoma dumping 14 inches of the white stuff with 50 mile an hour winds before heading up north to you! Glad she is gone! Happy New Year to you, too! Blessings for a peaceful year full of love, family, and fun!

Stay safe and warm and just think of us as we sweat with the heat this New Year's Eve with 42C (107.6F).
