this week I loved the
smell of : spaghetti and garlic bread!
sound of : silence...I keep saying that but staying in town compared to the country..well it is noisy!
taste of : fresh laid eggs
sight of : clear skies
feel of : sunshine
things I am thankful for this week...
- helpful people
- no damage at home due to the flooding
- friends emails
Remember to give your loved ones a hug!
Wonderful post Debbie, To often I think we forget about the little everyday things that are vital in our lives, we take them for granted & only miss them when they are gone. Thanks for the reminder 8-D
ReplyDeleteSo true and you are very welcome Katie, have a great Sunday!
DeleteDo you live anywhere near Duluth where the flooding is? My cousin's son and his family live in Duluth and I'm waiting to hear if they had any problems.
ReplyDeleteYes Sharon, our farm is located in Cloquet which is 20 minutes from Duluth. I hope your family is okay! There was massive damage.
DeleteOh, sometimes I am so dense! I should have thought to ask you about flooding. I had heard about the floods, and I know you are in Minnesota, but I just didn't put two and two together. How are you?
ReplyDeleteLOL, oh no Kristi, you aren't dense at all. We were surrounded by the flooding but the farm sits higher uphill so we were spared thank the Lord.
DeleteYes to all of the above!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs Deannie!
