I mentioned in an earlier post that I had found the perfect anniversary present for my dear hubby...well here it is! A pull behind plow for the lawn tractor! I was so excited when I spotted it off to the side of a HUGE yard sale. These people had the STUFF! It was one of those yard sales where you had to look quickly as everything was priced really cheaply, it is 'stuff' you love and there are a ton of people grabbing the stuff you want! LOL ... BUT I was able to snag quite a few items and this was the best buy ..... $20.00.
One of the other items was a pair of shears that to cut the wool off of sheep. Not that we have sheep or anything but I loved the look of them and couldn't pass them up for 50 cents. :o)
Happy thrifting and remember to give your loved ones a hug!
Great finds. Hubby is just gonna love that!!!! Plus..if he is like my husband he will be happy about the cost too!! I like the sheers too.. they will be cute sitting out somewhere. Happy Thursday!
ReplyDeleteThanks Leslie and yes he LOVES the price!
DeleteGreat deals! That plow will come in handy on the homestead. Love how we look for one thing and find another
ReplyDeleteIsn't that just the truth! That is exactly why I have to keep going to the sales! LOL
DeleteI am almost certain that your hubby will be thrilled with his pressie.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kimmie, yes I think he will.
DeleteDon't we just love these crazy yard sales? Ya just never know what you're gonna find. That's what makes them so much fun.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I just love them and make a list of everything I am looking for because once I start seeing everything, I get confused! LOL
DeleteAnother wonderful Thrifty Thursday post--my cue to remember to plot my garage sale route for the weekend. I love reading about all your good finds!
ReplyDeleteOooh, yes, my route is already planned out! LOL
DeleteMy husband found one of those shearing things at an estate sale a few years ago. It's really cool. We don't have sheep either :) Getting ready for our own yard sale this weekend, and it is soooo much work. We are also pricing things right to get rid of it, since I'm determined it's not coming back into my house.
ReplyDeleteCool that he found one too! Good luck at your yard sale...I am sure you will do fantastic!....wish I could come! LOL
DeleteDebC, we miss you like crazy at FV! Come back please! Are you okay? I've been thinking the worst! I miss you!
ReplyDeleteHey Val, so good to hear from you! I will be back soon..just extremely busy. I miss you guys too! I will have lots to fill you in on. Be patient my dear. Lots of love!
DeletePatience isn't a virtue of mine...lol...but I pray for some often. So far God hasn't seen fit to answer that particular prayer! Can't wait til you come back to the Village though. Don't work too hard in the meantime. Last night was my first visit to your blog. I like it a lot and spent way too much time checking it out (went to bed too late!). LOL!
DeleteLove it all Deb-just my style. Bob will love it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Deannie. Yep, I think he will and yes, I know it's your style too! LOL
DeleteI love yard sales like that! blessings, marlene
