OH! I miss snow! I grew up on the east coast and while I don't miss shoveling or scraping windshields, etc. I do miss the following things about snow: The first snowfall-- watching the snow start to come down and wondering how much you're going to get & it it'll last, waking up after an overnight snowstorm and seeing the world all white and sparkly and fresh looking, the twinkle of snow at night, and watching snow come down in the night as you sit in a cozy, darkened room (even better if you have Christmas lights up). Ahhh, seasons, how I miss them!
Oh ClutterMama, that is the very reason I love the seasons. Each one brings new scents and awakens the senses. We received quite a bit Thanksgiving night and it was a joy to awaken to a white wonderland....now the tree is up and lit in the evening...a perfect compliment to the snow outside.
Bit wet over your way?
ReplyDeleteA wee bit and now snow Kimmie....lots of it! LOL
